DAVE.TV Launches ‘Content Publishing Network’

DAVE.TV launched its “Content Publishing Network” Tuesday.

The Internet-protocol-TV digital-entertainment-distribution network said content owners and publishers can now, for the first time, deliver their content simultaneously to TVs, PCs and portable and mobile devices all over the world and across multiple service-provider networks.

DAVE.TV’s network is built on a proprietary peer-to-peer grid architecture.

“DAVE.TV aims to become an economically frictionless exchange where content providers can post their content for consumption and purchase, while having full control of rights management, billing, pricing and advertising to create a virtual broadcast ecosystem," DAVE.TV CEO Rex Wong said in a prepared statement. “This is in stark contrast to traditional broadcasting, where control of distribution defines the economic relationship.”
