Nortel Recognizes Compatibility

Nortel Networks Wednesday announced several products that have successfully completed interoperability testing with its Carrier VoIP and Multimedia portfolio.

Products that received certificates of compatibility with Nortel’s voice-over-Internet-protocol gear: AFC Inc.’s “AccessMAX” H.248 gateway; Arris Group Inc.’s “Cadant C4” cable-modem-termination system and “Touchstone” embedded multimedia-terminal adapters; Mediatrix Telecom Inc.’s “1102,” “1104,” “1124” and “1204” access devices; Ubiquity Software Corp.’s “SIP Application Server”; and Verilink Corp.’s “Net Engine 8108s: and “8508s” integrated-access devices.

The vendor also announced the following new members of its Nortel Networks Developer Program: Bloophone, Computer Talk Technology Inc., Entrisphere Inc., i3Micro, Interval Research Corp., NewHeights Software, Polycom Inc., SS8 Networks Inc. and Terayon Communication Systems Inc.
