Inauguration on-Demand from TVN

TVN Entertainment Corp. said Wednesday that it will make C-SPAN's coverage of the 55th presidential inauguration available to its video-on-demand affiliates free-of-charge and exclusively via its “TVNow” rapid turnaround service.

The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday at 11:30 am (EST), when it is expected that President George W. Bush's oath of office will be administered by William H. Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States. Bush’s inaugural address will follow immediately thereafter.

TVN said the on-demand program featuring C-SPAN's coverage will be available for viewing for approximately two weeks.

“We are extremely excited to work with C-SPAN once again to bring our affiliates the opportunity to offer their customers a second chance to see history in the making," TVN vice president of sales John Smith said in a prepared statement.

“Everyone has a busy schedule and, now, those customers who may have missed the original cablecast can see the inauguration in its entirety, at their convenience on-demand,” he added.
