Vyyo, a provider of broadband-access equipment, announced Thursday that Margaret “Maggie” Bellville has been named to the company’s board of directors.
Bellville, currently a partner with executive search firm CarterBaldwin, served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Charter Communications from 2002-04. Prior to that, she was president and CEO of streaming-media start-up Incanta and executive VP of operations at Cox Communications.
“Throughout her career in cable, Maggie has recognized the potential for existing infrastructure to continue to deliver new technologies and services,” Vyyo CEO Davidi Gilo said.
