Jupiter Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (J-COM Broadband) has deployed a number of Arris Group Inc. "Cadant C4" cable-modem-termination systems, the vendor announced Thursday.
"We selected the Arris Cadant C4 to support the very high data rates we are offering, as well as for the ease of their upgrade to high-density DOCSIS [Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification] 2.0 operations," J-COM Broadband senior vice president of engineering Shunzo Yamaguchi said in a prepared statement.
Japan’s largest MSO had 1.781 million subscribing households as of Dec. 31.
