4/15/2004 9:05 AM Eastern

CSG Systems International Inc. and EchoStar Communications Corp. have extended their existing agreement, the two companies said Thursday.

CSG will continue to serve as the billing-support and customer-care software-solutions provider supporting EchoStar's more than 9.4 million Dish Network direct-broadcast satellite subscribers.

EchoStar has been using CSG’s services since 1996.

In other EchoStar news, Dish added two more areas to its local-channels-via-satellite list Thursday.

The additions of Columbia-Jefferson City, Mo., and the surrounding area, as well as El Paso, Texas, Las Cruces, N.M., and the surrounding area, boosts EchoStar’s list of markets where it offers local-channel service to 115.

Columbia-Jefferson City-area Dish customers can now receive ABC channel 17 (KMIZ), Fox channel 2 (KQFX), NBC channel 8 (KOMU) and PBS channel 6 (KMOS).

El Paso/Las Cruces-area Dish customers can now receive Fox channel 14 (KFOX), NBC channel 9 (KTSM), Univision channel 26 (KINT) and TeleFutura channel 65 (KTFN).
