TVN Inks VOD Deal with TEN

TVN Entertainment Corp.'s video-on-demand lineup is getting an erotic jolt
thanks to a deal forged with The Erotic Networks.

Under the deal, the New Frontier Media Inc. pay television subsidiary will
provide 40 to 50 hours of VOD adult programming to TVN's distribution and
content-management platform. The total amount of programming will be flexible
based on the MSOs' preferences, according to TVN senior vice president of
business development Jim Riley.

TEN is hoping to expand its VOD reach, which stands now at 1.2 million
homes.

'Our agreement with TVN underscores our commitment to remain the leader in
VOD distribution for adult entertainment,' TEN president Ken Boenish said in a
release. 'By working with TVN and utilizing its `ADONISS' system, we're
increasing our ability to deliver VOD content in an efficient way that delivers
higher buy-rates and profitability to cable operators and greater selection and
variety for the viewing audience.'

TVN's distribution covers several major MSOs and reaches 20 million
subscribers total. It offers VOD, subscription-VOD and advertising-on-demand
content, including shows from cable's three premium networks, 500 hours of
basic-network on-demand programs, major movie titles and a myriad of specialized
content ranging from Spanish-language to children's programs.

While part of that lineup has included TVN's own adult content, the TEN pact
is the first signed for adult content from another provider. TVN plans to expand
its content library to 1,300 hours in July.
