USA’s Spartacus Captures Viewers

USA Network’s Spartacus miniseries chained more than 3 million viewers to their TV screens on average the nights of April 18 and 19.

The four-hour miniseries averaged a 3.0 household rating for its two-night premiere run, attracting some 3.5 million viewers on average in 2.7 million homes, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

The program garnered a 3.2 household rating and 3.8 million viewers the first night before dipping to a 2.8 rating and 3.2 million watchers the second night.

From a demographic standpoint, Spartacus pulled a 1.7 average among adults 25-54 and a 1.4 among adults 18-49.

Network executives reported that the shows pulled in almost 2 million men on average, more than any other original movie in basic cable this year.
