Comedy Central said Tuesday that Monday night’s episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, featuring former President Bill Clinton, averaged 1.9 million total viewers.
The show was basic cable’s top-rated program in its time period among persons 18-49, Comedy said.
The network added that Clinton’s appearance boosted the show to a 1.6 Nielsen Media Research household rating, as well as a 1.3 among persons 18-49.
Monday’s episode was the highest-rated Monday Daily Show ever in terms of total viewers and 18-49 delivery and ratings. Overall in the show history, Monday night ranked No. 3 in total delivery and No. 7 in 18-49 delivery.
