Critical Mention Inc. has signed a licensing agreement with CNBC/Dow Jones Business Video, a joint venture of NBC, Microsoft Corp. and Dow Jones & Co.
The provider of Web-based broadcast monitoring services will team up with CNBC/Dow Jones, which provides CNBC video clips for business-to-business and business-to-consumer applications.
CNBC/Dow Jones customers will be able to use the “Critical Dashboard” to conduct keyword searches; receive alerts when topics of interest to them are mentioned on the business-news network; view clips; read closed-captioned text; and “use workflow tools that enable them to communicate with colleagues and respond quickly and effectively to their broadcast mentions,” the companies said Thursday.
