Former Verizon Communications exec Doreen Toben has been appointed to the board of Arris Group, the broadband supplier that completed its $2.35 billion acquisition of Motorola Home on April 17.
Toben served as chief financial officer of Verizon from April 2002 to February 2009, when served as executive rive president until her retirement in June 2009. Prior to April 2002, she was SVP and CFO of Verizon’s Telecom Group. She started her career at AT&T.
Toben is also a member of the board of directors of Fifth & Pacific Companies (formerly Liz Claiborne), and The New York Times Company.
