Cox Business just played a winning hand in Las Vegas.

The MSO’s commercial services unit has won a seven-year deal to provide voice, data and video for the Las Vegas Convention Center and Cashman Center, which together cover 3.3 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space in  Sin City.

Cox Business, which competes in Las Vegas with CenturyLink, is slated to start lighting up services this fall. The data component will include both wireline and Wi-Fi connectivity, and 3G/4G Distributed Antenna Systems that will boost the facilities’ cellular capabilities

The MSO projects that the deal will bring in $12 million per year in revenues. Cox Business’ annual revenue run rate is currently at about $1.5 billion, and is expected to reach $2 billion by the end of 2016, a spokesman said.
