Disney Sets Premiere Date for ‘Kim Possible’ Live Action Movie

Disney Channel has set a Feb. 15 date for the premiere of its live-action series Kim Possible, the network said Friday.

The series, based on Disney’s animated Kim Possible series from the early 2000s, stars Sadie Stanley and Sean Giambrone as Kim Possible and her sidekick Ron Stoppable respectively.

In addition, Disney that night will also offer the first episode at its new eight-part miniseries Fast Layne, which centers around a tween who who finds her orderly life thrown into a tailspin when she discovers a sophisticated talking car named "VIN" hidden in an abandoned shed.

Fast Layne will move into its regular Sunday evening timeslot with the premiere of its second episode on Feb. 17, said the network.
