With a baker’s dozen surpassing the mark, YES Network’s coverage of Brooklyn Nets’ games have averaged a 1.0 household rating in the 2012-13 season.

Over 27 measured telecasts, that represents a 150% increase over Nets’ telecasts during last season, according to Nielsen data.

YES’s coverage of the Nets victory over Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder on Jan. 2 averaged a 1.4 household rating in the New York DMA, making it the 13th telecast to eclipse the 1.0 level, versus one in the labor-shortened 2011-12 campaign and none the prior season.

On the demo side, YES has also scored significant gains with the NBA team’s contests: up 300% with men 25 to 54 and 167% apiece with guys 18 to 34 and 18 to 49. Among persons 18 to 34 and adults 25 to 54, the RSN, which is home to the New York Yankees, grew 200%, and 150% against persons 18 to 49, according to Nielsen.
