Baseball’s in-house service, which is about to embark on its inaugural season of presenting postseason action with its coverage of Division Series contests on Oct. 7 and Oct. 10, also recorded the top studio telecast of 2012: MLB Tonight tallied an average audience of 259,000 watchers on Tuesday night.
