12/10/2004 5:37 AM Eastern

Duran Duran will help VH1 to break in new three-part series Baileys The Set Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 11 p.m. (EST/PST).

The series, sponsored by Diageo plc’s Baileys Original Irish Cream, will feature live, in-studio performance footage, along with interviews and documentary “B roll.”

In Baileys The Set: Duran Duran, the band will perform classic hits, as well as music from new album Astronaut, in front of a small studio audience at Sony Stages in Los Angeles.

“Programs such as Baileys The Set emphasize VH1's commitment to giving our viewers unique performances by their favorite artists that they can't see anywhere else,” VH1 executive vice president of music and talent Rick Krim said in a prepared statement.

Baileys brand director Barry Sheridan added, "Baileys is delighted to be working directly with VH1 to produce this unique show with such iconic talent as Duran Duran."
