USA Sets March Debut Date For ‘Sirens’

Denis Leary-Produced Comedy To Premiere March 6 12/09/2013 11:29 AM Eastern

USA Network will debut its new comedy series Sirens on March 6, network officials announced Monday.

USA will air two episodes back to back of the 10-episode Sirens, which is produced by Denis Leary (Rescue Me) and revolves around the antics of three Chicago-based EMT’s. The comedy series will debut immediately after the season three return of the network's hit drama series Suits, said USA officials.

“We are incredibly excited about our powerful Thursday night line-up,” said Jackie de Crinis, USA’s executive vice president of original programming in a statement. “As a top cable drama, Suits has a massive and incredibly young audience that is the perfect fit for fans of Denis Leary and Bob Fisher’s unique brand of comedy. Both series feature dynamic male leads, sharp and entertaining banter, and a strong storytelling point of view.”

On Jan. 8 USA Network will debut the eighth season of Psych, followed the next night by the first of four new episodes of drama series White Collar’s fifth season.
