TV One Renews 'Ultimate Merger'

TV One has greenlit a second season of its dating reality series Donald J. Trump Presents the Ultimate Merger.

Fashion model and television personality Toccara will search for the perfect mate in season two of the series, which will debut later this summer on the African-American targeted network. The series' freshman season featured reality TV star Omarosa as the single bachelorette looking for love.

Celebrity Fit Club and America's Top Model contender Toccara will put 12 successful bachelors through several challenges to find her Mr. Right.

"Season one of The Ultimate Merger generated a tremendous amount of interest from our audience, so we are delighted to be working with the same production team, including Donald Trump, on season two," said TV One Senior Vice President of Original Programming Toni Judkins in a statement. "We think we've found the ideal bachelorette in Toccara, who is an inspiration to so many African American women, yet has a strong personality and goes after what she wants with gusto, which should put her in good stead to deal with a dozen, strong-willed bachelors."
