TV One Looking Sharp with Rev. Al

Sharp Talk with Al Sharpton will debut on TV One Friday, Oct. 28 at 8:30 p.m. (EST), the network said Thursday.

The half-hour talk show, hosted by the Rev. Al Sharpton, originates from Levels barbershop in Brooklyn, where policymakers, journalists, authors, sports figures, celebrities, policy experts and others, including barbershop patrons, will join Sharpton in discussing cultural, political and economic topics.

TV One said the debut episode will focus on the role of African-American fathers in raising their children, with guests including Peter Holoman, director of the Male Development and Empowerment Center at Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York; WCBS-TV news anchor Shon Gables; and hip-hop artist and activist Doug E. Fresh.

Episodes will reair at 12:30 a.m. Saturdays, as well as Sundays at 6:30 p.m., the network added.
