Sundance To Offer ‘Rectify’ Episodes Via On Demand Prior To Network Debut

Sundance Channel will look to build awareness of its new scripted series Rectify by offering the first three episodes of the series on demand a week prior to the show’s April 22 debut.

The first three episodes of the series, which stars Aden Young as an convicted criminal released after 20 years on death row who tries to return to his family, community and society, will be available April 15 on VOD and TV Everywhere platforms, said network officials.

“With this initiative we wanted to create an innovative way to spur interest in the series and expand our audience,” said Sarah Barnett, Sundance Channel President in a statement. “By pre-launching the series on VOD, we can give viewers a chance to immerse themselves in the compelling world of Rectify before it ever airs on linear.”
