Spike TV Inks 'Tattoo Rescue' Series

Spike TV continues to ink tattoo-themed content, greenlighting a new one-hour series dubbed Tattoo Rescue.

The 10-episode series follows tattoo expert Joey Germinario and his team as they travel the country transforming failing tattoo studios into profitable ventures. The show will be produced by Charlie Corwin’s Original Media and will debut later this summer, according to network officials.

Tattoo Rescue marks the third Spike TV reality series in the genre following Ink Master andTattoo Nightmares.

The network also announced it has renewed its freshman reality series World’s Worst Tenants. The series, which follows a team of eviction specialists as they forcibly remove problematic tenants, averaged 1 million viewers in its first season and improved the timeslot in Men 25-34 by 96% and Persons 18-34 by 114%, said the network.
