Scripps Networks Monday announced three additions to Great American Country’s management team.
Scott Durand has been named vice president of operations. Durand has been with GAC for seven years with various roles in marketing, promotions, production and programming.
Sarah Trahern will join GAC as VP of programming from Scripps Network sister service Shop at Home.
And Greg Neal -- who has been involved in creative development for several Scripps Networks services -- will oversee creative services at GAC. Neal is currently VP of creative services at Shop at Home.
"As we begin the new year, the GAC management team has been working closely with Scripps Networks to put in place a business plan, budget and infrastructure that will lead to new growth and greater success for this network," said Scripps Networks senior VP Ed Hardy, who has been guiding the integration of GAC.
"One of the many benefits of being a part of Scripps Networks is the ability to draw on the assets, expertise and resources of a large, successful multimedia entity in a way that complements our existing talent and strengths,” he added. “The organizational changes we are announcing today do just that."
