2/25/2013 9:48 AM Eastern

Live from Daryl’s House, the musical Web series created by Daryl Hall, will debut on Rural Media Group’s networks, RFD-TV and FamilyNet, on Sunday, March 3, at 9:30 p.m. EST, the programmer said.

The show will feature a mix of well-known performers: Chromeo (March 3), KT Tunstall (March 10), Eric Hutchinson (March 17), Nick Lowe (March 24), Travis McCoy (March 31), Finger Eleven (April 7), Todd Rundgren (April 14), Kevin Rudolf (April 21) and The Bacon Brothers (April 28). The show also debuts new episodes on Palladia every Thursday night at 11 p.m. (ET/PT), having launched on the Viacom-owned Viacom’s HD music channel last September.

Live from Daryl’s House is syndicated nationally by Good Cop Bad Cop Productions, and executive producers include Daryl Hall (shown above; photo by Mark Maglio) and his manager, Jonathan Wolfson.

RFD-TV and FamilyNet (which Rural Media Group bought last fall) air family-oriented music and entertainment programming on Sunday night. Other shows that night include The Marty Stuart Show, Larry’s Country Diner, The Mollie B Polka Party and Joey+Rory

Hall, of Hall and Oates fame, started the monthly web show in November 2007 after having the idea of “playing with my friends and putting it up on the Internet,” RFD-TV said. It’s received upbeat notices from music mainstream publications such as Rolling Stone, SPIN, Daily Variety and influential blogger Bob Lefsetz. It won a WEBBY Award in 2010 in the variety category.

In a release, Hall said: “I’ve been watching RFD-TV for a few years. As a person who lives mostly in the country, I appreciate a network that shows the many facets of rural life. I think that this is an important network in America and I’m really excited about the fact that Live from Daryl’s House is going to be part of that."

Rural Media Group Randy Bernard said in the release: “Live from Daryl’s House is the perfect fit for our family-focused Sunday night primetime lineup. Daryl brings a stunning roster of guest stars, great music and a truly enjoyable show that’s suitable for everyone in the family to watch and enjoy together.” The network said it hopes to expand its relationship with Hall beyond this show.
