Oxygen to Breath Life Into Two Original Series

Oxygen will distribute two new series and will return several of its signature series during the 2004-05 season, the network announced Tuesday.

Set to bow on the network in summer 2004 is Nice Package, a reality series in which participants have one day to remake a room in their home based on a designer’s plans; and Snapped, a 30-minute series that profiles the lives of female criminals.

The two series join previously announced original skein Good Girls Don’t (formerly titled My Best Friend Is a Big, Fat Slut).

The network will also bow its second original romantic-comedy film, Tempting Adam, this fall. And Oxygen announced the acquisition of off-network series Living Single, also for a fall debut.

Along with new original and acquired product, Oxygen said it will bring back current series Oprah After the Show, Talk Sex with Sue Johanson, Girls Behaving Badly and Conversations from the Edge with Carrie Fisher.
