Obama, McCain Set Cable Stops This Week

Presidential candidates Sen. Barack Obama (D.-Ill.)and Sen. John McCain (R.-Ariz.) have appearances slated this week on several cable networks.

Obama is set to make his fourth appearance as a guest on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart this Wednesday at 11:00 p.m. Obama’s last appearance on The Daily Show was April 21, the eve of the Pennsylvania Primary.

The Democratic nominee for President also appeared on the show Aug. 22, 2007 and Nov. 7, 2005. Obama will appear via satellite from Florida, where he continues his campaign with less than one week until Election Day.

Also on Wednesday, GOP presidential nominee McCain will appear on CNN’s Larry King Live at 9 p.m. for an interview, the same night that Obama delivers his paid half-hour TV-network address. King and McCain will discuss the election and quest for the presidency with just seven days left in the race.

And this Thursday, Obama will be interviewed by MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on her show, The Rachel Maddow Show, at 9 p.m..
