NUVOtv Sets Spring Programming Schedule

NUVOtv will add several original reality and competition series to its lineup this Spring, the Latino-targeted network announced Thursday.

New series set to debut in March include The Collective, a weekly series featuring select DJs and celebrities offering their personal music picks of the week and Nu Point Of View: The Emerging Latino Filmmakers, a quarterly film showcase hosted by actress Gina Rodriquez [Filly Brown] featuring projects from up and coming writers, producers and directors.

In April, the network will debut Knockout, a competition series in which rookie boxers get to work with top ring trainers and fighters including Ruben Guerrero and Floyd Mayweather Sr., while in May the network will premiere Love and Salsa, a match-making competition series developed by tv personality Mario Lopez.   

NUVOtv will also bring back several series for new seasons including Stand Up & Deliver: Cabo San Lucas, Mario Lopez: One-on-One and its recently acquired drama series Dexter, said network officials.
