NGC Joins Interpol

New series Interpol Investigates debuts on National Geographic Channel Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 9 p.m. (EST/PST) with back-to-back episodes, the network said Tuesday.

Each hour-long episode recreates investigations by the world's pre-eminent police organization, Interpol, with dramatizations, archival footage, historical perspective, cultural context and first-hand accounts from investigators and victims' families, NGC said.

The series also “examines how this global law-enforcement agency promotes cooperation between a diverse array of legal and political systems despite cultural differences and often conflicting agendas,” the network added.

John Imhoff, who served as chief of U.S. operations for Interpol from 1997-2000, is among the experts who will be featured on Interpol Investigates.
