New Look for Sunshine

Sunshine Network will debut an all-new look Jan. 18, the regional sports network said Wednesday.

The channel said it will introduce a fresh brand identity and style through state-of-the-art graphics, a new Sun Sports logo and original music.

Sunshine airs games from the National Basketball Association's Miami Heat and Orlando Magic, as well as the National Hockey League's Tampa Bay Lightning. The network also has carriage deals with Florida State University, the University of Florida, the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Southeastern Conference.

“Our goal is to develop programming for Florida sports fans that resonates distinctively with our audience in a first-class environment,” Sun Sports vice president and general manager Cathy Weeden said in a prepared statement.

“Our introduction of new presentation elements and transition to the Sun Sports logo is our most visible way of communicating this focused commitment to our viewers,” she added.
