The Jan. 19 telecast of the Blues’ 3-1 win over the Red Devils behind Samuel Eto’o’s hat trick averaged 1.019 million viewers, according to Nielsen data. That delivery was NBCSN’s best with the BPL and stands second all-time behind the 1.033 million viewers ESPN netted for Manchester City-ManU on April 30, 2012. NBCSN now has recorded five of the six U.S. cablecasts ever with the top English football circuit.
NBC Sports Group’s Premier League coverage continues with fourth-place Liverpool and circuit scoring leader Luis Suárez (22 goals) hosting sixth-place Everton and U.S. men’s national team goalkeeper Tim Howard on Tues., Jan. 28, at 3 p.m. (ET) on NBCSN.
