NBC Universal Cable Entertainment has promoted Dan Harrison to senior vice president, cross-network strategy and emerging networks.
Harrison had been VP, strategic program planning for Bravo.
In his new role, he will be responsible for strategic planning of cross-platform programming for NBC Universal's entertainment cable networks including USA Network, Sci Fi Channel and Bravo.
He will also oversee Universal HD, NBC U’s new HD cable network, and he will work with NBC U Cable president Jeff Gaspin on new channel development, both linear and video-on-demand.
Harrison will also remain responsible for the planning and execution of Bravo's long-range direction, as well as scheduling.
