Husband and Wife Together on MSNBC

Husband and wife Maury Povich and Connie Chung will host a weekend news show on MSNBC, AP reported.

Povich hosts syndicated daily talk show Maury, while Chung has been off the air since her primetime-news show was pulled off Cable News Network’s lineup in 2003.

The MSNBC show -- to be produced by the co-creator of Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Lizz Winstead -- will examine the week's headlines, from politics to pop culture, and it will have guests, according to AP.

Povich and Chung will “cut through the spin and get to the truth, exploring all sides of a story as only two people who have been married for 20 years can do,” MSNBC told AP.
