Evidently, Elisabeth Hasselback has brought some viewers to Fox News Channel’s morning show.
During the first month since Hasselback, the former co-host of ABC’s The View, joined Fox and Friends, the show has scored double-digit gains in both viewers and among the 25-to-54 set compared to the show’s third-quarter performance before her arrival.
Weekdays from Sept. 16 through Oct. 11, Fox and Friends garnered just under 1.23 million viewers, 16% more than the 1.06 million who watched the 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. show on average from July 1 through Sept. 13, according to Nielsen data.
Among the so-called news demo, Fox and Friends with Hasselback on board averaged 289,000 adults 25 to 54 over the past four weeks, a 22% gain from the 236,000 from the aforementioned span, according to Nielsen.
