Ensequence Hires Sales SVP

Cable industry vet Gary Perrelli has joined Ensquence as senior vice president, interactive sales – content providers.

In that role, Perrelli will head up efforts with major programmers to develop interactive TV experiences across various distribution platforms. Perrelli reports to Ensequence chief operating officer David Kline, who joined the company last week.

Perrelli most recently served as VP, national accounts and affiliate advertising sales for the Disney and ESPN Media networks, where he negotiated multi-year affiliate deals with cable, satellite and telco TV partners. During his tenure, he and his team also developed new ad opportunities in the advanced advertising arena, including TV Everywhere, dynamic ad insertion and interactive advertising.

Perrelli also was director of new business for ESPN from August 2001 to September 2002, and was VP/area director for AT&T Broadband (now part of Comcast), and held multiple positions at Cox Communications, including VP and GM of the MSO’s New England region.

“We are excited that Gary will be joining our growing business,” Kline said, in a statement. “He possesses all the leadership tools we need to continue nurturing our existing content provider partnerships but also has the deep understanding of the complex industry climate to help foster new relationships.  We are confident that his experience will positively impact our company from day one.”

Ensequence's customers include NBCUniversal, Viacom Media Networks, Showtime, Turner Broadcasting, HBO, QVC, WE tv, MSB, Fuse, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Dish Network and Verizon.
