Court TV Wants Your Kids’ Prints

Court TV said Wednesday that it is teaming up with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

NCMEC -- a nonprofit organization that provides services for families and professionals in the prevention of abducted, endangered and exploited children --will help the network to enhance its award-winning “Digital Fingerprinting Initiative” by providing safety tips to families.

Court TV said it has fingerprinted more than 100,000 children since the program launched in 2002.

“Partnering with NCMEC, one of this country’s most highly regarded children’s-safety organizations, is fantastic for our fingerprinting initiative, which reaches tens of thousands of families,” Court TV executive vice president of affiliate relations Bob Rose said in a prepared statement.

“Thanks to a successful ongoing relationship between Court TV and NCMEC, we are raising the bar, offering affiliates and their local communities an even more worthwhile initiative,” he added.
