Nickelodeon has ordered 20 more episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants, which will bring the series’ total to 100 when the new installments finish airing in 2007, AP reported.

The network had temporarily postponed production of new episodes while the SpongeBob SquarePants feature film was in production, but it ordered 20 more last year, according to AP.

MTV Networks said SpongeBob SquarePants is the most widely seen show in its history, and a recent deal to air the series in China brought its total to 25 different languages around the world.

“It just doesn't feel like we should stop yet,” Nickelodeon Television president Cyma Zarghami told AP.
