Black Enterprise Recognizes FSN’s Rone

FSN executive vice president of network development and rights acquisitions David Rone was included on Black Enterprise’slist of“The 50 Most Powerful Blacks in Sports.”

Rone was also recently ranked No. 40 on Sports Illustrated’s“101 Most Influential Minorities in Sports” list.

At FSN, he is responsible for the strategic direction, financial analysis and negotiation of cable-television rights acquisitions for the programmer’s 12 owned-and-operated regional sports networks from professional sports teams, as well as collegiate conferences. Rone also negotiates rights acquisitions for Fox College Sports.

He was one of only six corporate executives named on Black Enterprise’s list, which was mostly made up of agents, promoters, collegiate decision makers, league and team executives, industry associations, owners and athletes.
