The Bible and Vikings helped History capture its second straight weekly primetime ratings win, according to Nielsen.
History drew 3.2 million viewers to top all cable networks for the week of March 4 to March 10, besting USA Network’s 2.9 million viewers, according to Nielsen. Disney Channel finished third with 2.4 million viewers, followed by TBS at 1.9 million and Fox News at 1.8 million.
TNT (1.78 million), A&E Network (1.77 million); ESPN (1.4 million); AMC (1.36 million); and HGTV (1.31 million) rounded out the top 10.
History was also tops among adult 18-49 and adults 25-54, while TBS was the top choice among adults 18-34.
Disney Channel’s 1.714 million viewers beat out Nickelodeon’s 1.713 million viewers to narrowly take total day honors of the week, according to Nielsen. USA finished third with 1.4 million watchers.
AMC’s Walking Dead was the most watched show of the week, but the A+E Networks group accounted for six of the top 10 weekly shows. USA’s WWE Monday Night Raw represented the remaining thre top 10 slots, according to Nielsen.
