Time Warner Cable Fights Child Abuse

Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey was honored for its child-abuse-prevention efforts.

The operator was one of three winners of the statewide “Excellence in Child Abuse Prevention 2004” award at the Ninth Annual New York State Child Abuse Prevention Conference held in Albany, N.Y.

Time Warner Cable was recognized for its ongoing support of the Child Abuse Prevention Program.

“Diminishing public funds made corporate partnerships more essential, and Time Warner Cable stepped up to provide financial support to allow CAPP to continue its ‘Child Safety Workshop,’ which reaches 20,000 children each year,” CAPP executive director Marion White said in a prepared statement.
