Suddenlink’s Meduski Chairs WICT Board

Exec Returns To Head Of Association's Board 1/06/2014 12:54 PM Eastern

Women in Cable Telecommunications said Mary Meduski, EVP & CFO, Suddenlink Communications, enters the second year of her two-year term as chair of the board of directors. Martha Soehren, Chief Talent Development Officer & SVP, Comcast University & Comcast Cable, has been elected to the vice chair role. 

WICT also said incumbent board members Sandy Howe, SVP, Strategic Market Development, ARRIS, and Kelly Regal, EVP, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., moved up to the board's executive committee.

Four additional individuals will join the board for the first time in 2014 as directors-at-large. They are: Sandra Kapell, EVP, Human Resources and Administration, Cablevision Systems; Ellen Kroner, EVP, Communications, AMC Networks; Kathleen O'Reilly, Managing Director, Communications, Media & Technology, Accenture; and Leigh Woisard , VP, Corporate Public Affairs, Cox Communications.

"I am honored to continue to serve as chair of this diverse and exceptional group of industry leaders," Meduski said in a release. "We know that the cable industry is a dynamic environment and the Board members' vision and expertise will be instrumental as WICT carries out its mission to build women leaders."
