Corridor Inks 8x8 Pact

Corridor Communications Corp. will use 8x8 Inc.’s “Packet8” broadband voice-over-Internet-protocol and videophone-communications services under a deal announced Monday.

Under terms of the deal, Corridor will be able to private-label the Packet8 products and services and provide customized Web interfaces applicable to its customers.

Packet8 subscribers can make unlimited calls to any telephone number in the United States and Canada, and unlimited calls to any other Packet8 subscriber anywhere in the world, for $19.95 per month.

All Packet8 accounts come with voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, call waiting caller ID, call forwarding, hold, line-alternate, three-way conferencing, Web access to account controls and real-time online billing.

Corridor is an integrated wireless Internet-service provider and cable-television operator with systems in Oregon, Nevada and Arizona.
