Cable Operators

Carcione Out, Murphy Up at TelVue

8/04/2004 9:26 AM Eastern

TelVue Corp. president and CEO Frank J. Carcione will leave the company early next year, when executive vice president Joseph M. Murphy will take over, the company said Wednesday.

The vendor provides cable operators and direct-broadcast satellite providers with automatic-number-identification telecommunications and Internet pay-per-view ordering services.

TelVue said Carcione will go into semi-retirement and work several days per week helping to develop its “Virtual Television Networks” service (TVTN), which creates and provides ongoing support and programming for multimedia cable-television access channels operated by municipal governments.
