FiOS Internet Hits Brooklyn

Verizon Launches High Speed Internet Service in Canarsie, Mill Basin, Georgetown and Bergen Beach

Verizon said Monday that it launched its FiOS Internet service in Brooklyn.

The high-speed Internet service is available in parts of Brooklyn’s Canarsie, Mill Basin, Georgetown and Bergen Beach communities. Verizon said FiOS Internet is also available in several buildings in Williamsburg and downtown Brooklyn.

Verizon is marketing several tiers of FiOS Internet service, including connection speeds up to 10, 20 and 50 Mbps. Price range from $39.99 monthly for a 10 Mbps connection to $89.95 monthly for a 50 Mbps connection.
