GSN Recruits Primack for Chicago Sales Post

Former Sí TV, Rainbow Executive Named Executive Director of Distribution

By Linda Moss -- Multichannel News, 8/20/2007 10:37:00 AM

GSN named Leigh Primack to the newly created, Chicago-based position of executive director of distribution.

Primack, a 10-year cable veteran, will oversee all affiliate sales and marketing efforts for GSN’s new Central Region group. In addition to her affiliate sales responsibilities she will be charged with staffing and managing the day-to-day distribution operations of the Chicago office. She begins Aug. 30.

Primack comes to GSN from Sí TV, where she most recently served as director of affiliate sales and marketing. In that capacity, she oversaw Sí TV’s field sales efforts, with specific responsibility for the Midwest and Florida region, and played a vital role in managing relationships with key distributors, including Time Warner, Comcast and Bright House.

Prior to Sí TV, Primack worked over eight years at Rainbow Media Holdings, where she held various positions in affiliate sales and marketing.
